DNS Migration - Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which DNS Platform is getting migrated?

A: The legacy PartnerConsole DNS platform is being migrated onto a CentralNic controlled & managed platform.

Q: Will I be affected?

A: If your domain name is delegated to the following Name Servers -

  • ns1.partnerconsole.net
  • ns2.partnerconsole.net
  • ns3.partnerconsole.net

You will not be affected by this change as this is a backend migration between two different platforms. However, if your domain name is delegated to the following Name Servers -

  • Vanity Name Servers that point back to the PartnerConsole DNS Platform
  • ns1.netregistry.net / ns2.netregistry.net / ns3.netregistry.net
  • ns1.planetdomain.com / ns2 planetdomain.com / ns3.planetdomain.com
  • ns1.yourdnshost.net / ns2.yourdnshost.net / ns3.yourdnshost.net
  • brigh.twoplums.com.au / mutlet.twoplums.com.au

This will mean that your domain name will need to be delegated to the following Name Servers -

  • ns1.partnerconsole.net
  • ns2.partnerconsole.net
  • ns3.partnerconsole.net

Domain names that are registered with TPP will be delegated on your behalf however if the domain name is not registered with TPP then you will need to delegate your domain name on 15/07/2022 to avoid any disruption in managing your zone file. Please note that after the migration on 14/07/2022, zone changes will be applied only to the new platform

Q: Why are you doing this migration?

A: As part of our ongoing improvement to your service experience, TPP Wholesale is upgrading to a new DNS Platform. The new platform will be anycast, which includes updated DNS software with automated anti abuse and DDoS protection.

Q: What if I have issues or concerns with this migration?

A: Don't worry, please feel free to Contact Us directly should you have any questions.
