What We Found
Our automated compliance check has identified that the email for some domain names associated with your account does not have the proper SPF (Sender Policy Framework) record configuration required for email delivery through our system.
Why This Matters
SPF records are DNS entries that specify which mail servers are authorized to send emails on behalf of your domain. Without the correct SPF configuration:
- Emails sent through our platform may be marked as spam or rejected by recipient servers.
Example: invoice notifications, renewal reminders, password reset emails, et al.
Your email deliverability and sender reputation could be negatively impacted.
- Email authentication standards (required by major email providers) will not be met.
What You Need to Do
Please update your domain's DNS TXT records to include our mail relay server in your SPF record. Your SPF record must contain:
include:relay.tppwholesale.com.au
Example SPF Record:
If you already have an SPF record, add the include statement before the "all" mechanism:
v=spf1 [existing entries] include:relay.tppwholesale.com.au ~all
My domain’s DNS is Hosted by a Different Provider
Even if your domain’s DNS is hosted with a different provider, you still need to update the SPF record to avoid emails being delivered to spam folders.
I am using an open-source email. What should I do?
If you are using an open-source email account like Gmail or Hotmail, you do not have the option to add an SPF record. If you want to add an SPF record to prevent emails from being delivered to spam folders, we highly recommend updating the email address in your Whitelabel account to your domain name.
