What is the difference between a dedicated SSL and a shared SSL?

How do I link to my website using a shared SSL connection?

The URL you must use to access your files using a shared SSL differs depending on the type of hosting your website uses. See the table below for the URL format you must use to access your files using a shared SSL.

The server-name and username on cPanel Hosting accounts can be found within the Console. Follow the instructions below to obtain your cPanel Hosting server name and username.

  1. Log in to the Admin Panel
  2. Hover over 'Domains' and click 'Manage'
  3. Click on the domain you want to edit
  4. Click cPanel Login
  5. The Current cPanel Machine = the server name
  6. The Username = your cPanel username

I'm not sure what type of website hosting I have, how can I find out?

If you are unsure whether you have Cloud or cPanel Hosting, or whether you are hosted on the Litespeed, Zeus or Windows servers (Cloud Hosting customers), you can find out by following the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Admin Panel
  2. Hover over 'Domains' and click 'Manage'
  3. Click on the domain you want to edit
  4. If you have cPanel Hosting, you'll see a reference to cPanel on this page.
  5. If you have Cloud Hosting, you'll see a reference to Cloud Hosting on this page
  6. To determine whether your website uses Litespeed, Windows or Zeus, click on Cloud Hosting
  7. Locate the Host type row about half way down the page, under FTP Details
