Overview
Step by step instructions on how to configure internal email forwarding with Microsoft 365. This will allow for you to forward email to another mailbox using the same domain name.
- Visit https://portal.office.com
- Login using the Microsoft 365 Admin Credentials (Instructions on how to do this can be found here)
- Once logged in, proceed to click the Admin Icon in the top left hand corner
- On the left hand side, click Users then click Active Users

Click on the user that you would like to configure for internal email forwarding

Click Mail
- Click Manage email forwarding
- Select Forward all emails sent to this mailbox
- Add the email address that you would like to forward to
- Select Keep a copy of forwarded email in this mailbox if you would like to keep a copy of any email that gets forwarded
- Click Save Changes to save the new email forwarding rule
